1898年、Dr. Hellsgaardはモンスターに妻子を殺され、モンスターに復讐心を抱くようになる。そして自らが発明したアーマーを纏い、日本の狂信的信者を従え、モンスターを殲滅するための巨大組織を作り上げたのだった。

"Franken Castle"編・中編。
Dr. Hellsgaardの境遇はFrank(Punisher)に似ています。これを知ったFrankの心中はどんなものなのでしょう。
しかし、Dr. Hellsgaardと日本の関係が説明されている、そのうちの一コマには、東京タワーと怪獣とガイキング！（の紛い物）
Dr. Hellsgaardの遍歴は結構読み応えがありました。エスカレートしてるとはいえ、彼の心情はわからなくはありません。

Frankが何を思っているのかは、あの性格ですのでわかりにくいですが、単独ドラゴンに乗り、Dr. Hellsgaardの城へと向かいます。
何とかMorbiusを救出するところまではいったのですが、脱出するときDr. Hellsgaardが立ち塞がり…。

ところで次号でこのエピソードは完結（のはず）ですが、Frank、このままってことはないですよね？

な、なんだか知らぬ間にPunisherはすごい話になっていたんですね。なんだかファンタジーみたい。これはこれで面白そうですが、前みたいな渋カッコイイFrankはいなくなってしまったのでしょうか・・・。

そうですよね～。これなら別にFrankでなくてもいいような気もします。意外性はありましたが。まさかずっとフランケンのままなのでは、と心配になってしまいます。
