自分の価値を証明したいあまり、Pymの装置を勝手に操り、Janetの再生を試みるVeil。だが現れたのはCarina。神の力を持つと云われているKorvacの妻だ。やがてKorvacも現れ、妻を返せと迫ってきた…。

各キャラの心情を細かく表現していて好感が持てます。
前回はPymとTigraでしたが、今回はVeilとSpeedballとHazmatといったことろでしょうか。
みんなそれぞれに悩みを抱え、苦しみながら迷いながら生きています。
Korvacを倒すため、CarinaはAcademyの生徒たちの身体を一時的に未来の身体と入れ替えます。
よりパワフルに成長している彼らはなんとかKorvacを打ち倒し元の姿に戻るのですが、Reptilだけはそれを拒否し未来の姿でい続けることに。
