カフェで一人ビールを飲むLuke Cage。若い女性二人が彼を見つけナンパするが、これを断るLuke。妻のJessicaと待ち合わせしていたのだ。最初和やかにメニューを見ていた二人だったが、言い合いはエスカレートし、注文を訊きにきた店員も目に入らないようだった…。
Luke Cageのまたの名はPower Man。
なので、妻にはPower Womanを名乗るよう勧めます。
それにJessicaは反対し、言い争いとなっていきます。
どうなることかと思いましたが、Doombotが街に落ちてきた騒ぎで、話は中断します。
後にAvengers Mansionで、みんなの前で、正式にAvengersのメンバーになることを宣言するJessica。
娘のためにロールモデルとなりたいという心情も発表。
名前はPower Womanとするそうです。
"Boo Yah"と感激するLuke。
それがまた、Jessicaの機嫌を損ねたようです。
女心は複雑ですね。
