Eugeneの経歴は嘘だった。彼は政府で働いている科学者ではなく、高校の教師だった。護ってもらいたいが為の必死の嘘だった。ワシントンが無事だというのもでまかせで、希望と目的が潰え、途方にくれるRickたちだった…。

と、そこにひょっこり現れたAaron。
ワシントン郊外にコミュニティをつくり暮らしているそうです。
人数は40人をきるくらい。
仲間に加わらないか、という申し出です。
どうやらRickたちを判断するため、遠くから観察していたようです。
食料も尽きかけ、目的も失った矢先、ぐらつくみんな。
しかし、そんなうまい話はあるのでしょうか。
みんなはAaronについていくことに決めたようですが、Rickはかなり用心しているようです。
