Ultimatumの惨劇のあと、わずかに残ったミュータントたちは迫害を受けていた。そしてある日、普通の人たちによって育てられていたWolverineの息子Jimmy Hudsonの能力が目覚める。KittyはJimmyを訪ね、Wolverineの遺言を渡す…。
全5話・前半。
Wolverineのフォログラムの遺言は、まあそう重要でもなく、「俺は俺の道を行った。だからお前はお前の道を行け」といった内容でした。Jimmyの母親の名前さえ明かされませんでした。
仲間になるかと思いきや、Kittyの役目はここで終わり。彼女はPeter(Spider-Man)のことのほうが気がかりなのでしょう。
Jimmyの能力は、ヒーリングファクターと爪。
アダマンチウムは引き継がれないため、Dakenと同じく骨の爪ですが、何故かColossusのようにメタルコーティングが可能。爪だけのようですが。
Jean GreyはKaren Grantと名乗り姿を隠して普通の生活していましたが、写真をFacebookにアップされ、Rogueに化けたMystiqueたちに見つかり、その生活に別れを告げます。
で、Jimmyと合流。
もうひとり仲間になるDerek MorganはAngelのような翼を持っています。
Angelと違い、羽を体内に収納できるようです。
牙と鋭い爪も持っています。
