サブタイトルのとおり、Marc Spector(Moon Knight) がどん底から這い上がる様を描いたストーリーです。
今まで私が読んだ Marvel Comics の中では一番暗く重い話です。
残酷な描写もあり、ちょっとイメージが変わりました。
Marc は軍隊にいたりと、格闘などには長けているようですが、特に特殊能力を持っているわけではないようです。
ミリオネラで、地下に自分の基地を持っていたり、特殊な乗り物を持っているあたりは少し Batman を思わせるものもありますが、違う点は、"復讐の神"への信仰が厚く、過去に死んだりしていることでしょう。
"ULTIMATES"シリーズのコスチュームが月光仮面っぽかったりしてたのに対し、こちらは鳥をモチーフにしたようなコスチュームとなっています。
また、多重人格者でもなさそうです。
会話は、ストーリーがやや難解なのに加えて、フランス語がところどころに出てきたりして、ちょっと難しめな印象。
