Messiah Complex 事件の後、X-Men の存在はなくなり、Rockslide, Blindfold, Dust の若いミュータントたちは孤立し、目的もないままだった。Cyclops が新生 Brotherhood を追跡し抹殺するために彼らを引き抜くまでは…。2人の新人も加わった Young X-Men は、昔の仲間が最悪の敵なってしまったりという Messiah Complex 後の厳しい現実について学ぶことになる。
"X-Men: Divided We Stand" シリーズ。
Cyclops が、元 New X-Men の Blindfold, Dust, Rockslide, Wolf Cub に新人の Ink の５人を集めて Young X-Men を結成します。
後半 Graymalkin というミュータントも加わります。
あと、登場するのは Cannonball, Magma, Sunspot, Dani Moonstar。
なにかいろいろとしっくりこないまま読み進めていたのですが、これには結構な仕掛けがあって、まんまと私は騙されました。
演出的にイマイチだったのが残念なところです。
このあと、まだ登場していない New X-Men のメンバーがどう関わってくるのか、先が楽しみなシリーズです。
