織田信長、豊臣秀吉に仕えた戦国時代の武将・吉田織部正重然の生き様を描いた作品。
他の歴史を取り扱った作品と違い、「物欲」が最大のテーマとなっているのがまず面白かったです。
キャラクターもみんな濃いのでとても印象に残りやすく、歴史の勉強の手助けにもなると思います。
「ガニッ」「ギムッ」「ミグッ」などなど主人公の独特の表現もとっても面白かったです。
私は歴史に浅く、勉強の必要性を感じてこの本も手に取ったのですが、この本のおかげで、明智光秀の印象が私の中で180度変わりました。
