トンネルを抜けたら、ガードレールの切れ目をすぐ左折。雑草の生える荒地を進むと、小さな岬の先端に、ふいに喫茶店が現れる。そこには、とびきりおいしいコーヒーとお客さんの人生にそっと寄り添うような音楽を選曲してくれるおばあさんがいた。彼女は一人で喫茶店を切り盛りしながら、ときおり窓から海を眺め、何かを待ち続けていた。その喫茶店に引き寄せられるように集まる人々―妻をなくしたばかりの夫と幼い娘、卒業後の進路に悩む男子大学生、やむにやまれぬ事情で喫茶店へ盗みに入った泥棒など―心に傷を抱えた彼らの人生は、その喫茶店とおばあさんとの出逢いで、変化し始める。心がやわらかさを取り戻す、感涙の長編小説。

大きな感動とかはなかったですが、悪人は登場せず、雰囲気はとてもよかったです。
こんな喫茶店があったらいってみたいなと思わせてくれます。
穏やかな雰囲気と綺麗な景色を満喫したいです。
