X-Men の新しい道、少なくともそれが彼らに残されたものだ！過去の脅威がようやくおさまったと同時に、さらなる脅威がありえない場所から沸き起こる。その脅威は、X-Men に破滅の呪文を投げかける。それにもまして、Sabretooth に恐怖を与えるなど、どんなものが可能だというのか？また、Children of the Vault とは何者なのであろうか？
今回はまったく新しい敵 CHILDREN OF THE VAULT と戦うことになります。
詳しい説明はしませんが、なんでも2000年の進化を遂げているとか…。
真っ向から立ち向かうのは Rogue 率いるチームで、メンバーはちょっと変わっていて、Cannonball, Cable, Iceman, Sabretooth, Mystique, Lady Mastermind, Omega Sentinel といった面々。
まったく新規のエピソードで、単語も難しいのが点在していて、前半はかなり苦労しますが、後半のバトルは格好いいシーンが目白押しです。
とにもかくにも一番格好いいのは Rogue ですが、Cannonball, Iceman, Mystique, Lady M も負けてはいません。
読んでいて気持ちよかったです。
イラストも格好いいです。
余談になりますが、"New X-Men" で Cannonball はかなりの重傷を負ったはずなのですが、こちらではずっと活躍しています。
う～ん、時間関係がわからない…。
まあ、面白ければそんなことどうでもいいですけれど。
